Our Mission

We make great coffee and food — and give back. Five percent of our gross profits go straight to local causes (school lunch programs, homeless services, boots & coats drives, and other community needs). We’re unapologetic about doing business differently: quality products, honest prices, and measurable local impact. 

Who We Are

Holy Grounds was started by Matt Wilder and Steve Slifer. What began as a food truck on Iowa Avenue has quickly grown into plans for a brick-and-mortar location — with a second location already in the works. We’re hands-on owners who design drinks, staff the truck, build community relationships, and keep the coffee flowing.

Where our coffee comes from


We use beans from Guatemala and Costa Rica that are roasted in Michigan — the result is a consistent, branded Holy Grounds roast we’re proud to sell.
